
Outdoor Yoga
Come and take part in a gentle all levels yoga class in beautiful Ashworth Holmes Park. Enjoy an hour outside under a canopy of mature trees as you breathe in fresh air. Gaze up upon a row of lilac bushes and hear the sound of birds and families enjoying the park while you connect with your body and breath. This class is appropriate for all levels of experience including none! Everybody and all bodies are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat unless you’d like to practice in the grass.

June 21st Solstice
This class will be a mix of active postures and restorative postures to balance the hours of light and day as we transition into summer.

Hosted by the Buena Vista Community Association this all levels class is a gentle, general class appropriate for everybody. Enter through the door on the 6th street and come to the school gym. Please wear a mask and bring your yoga mat. Some blocks and straps are available but if you have your own please bring them along.
Cost: $10 to drop in

Yoga for healthy backs
This eight week series will look at yoga through the lens of back care. This class is appropriate for anyone who suffers acute, chronic or occasional back pain. We will learn basic anatomy of the spine, a few common causes of back pain and how to care for our backs when aggravated as well as some strategies to promote ongoing back health . This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners with no experience.

Restorative Yoga (Online)
This class is a chance to rest and reset your nervous system. In stillness we can experience the power of healing, reflect deeply on our inner nature and abide in the present moment unobstructed from the usual things that weigh us down. We will relax deeply and hold postures for several minutes at a time while the body is fully supported, warm and comfortable. We set the stage to journey inside and meet ourselves exactly where we are. Yoga props and common household items will be used to facilitate comfort in the body so that relaxation is inevitable.
